City Springs / Branding and System Design/ 2015

The City of Sandy Springs sought to create a branded downtown area for the nearly 100,000 residents who inhabit the municipality. The district, which is currently under development, will be called City Springs—a connection to the city’s heritage as well as its position as a civic hub. “The name and imagery generate the strong sense of place and pride we have within our community,” Mayor Rusty Paul said. “The term ‘springs’ is one that resonates with the associated artwork a strong connection to the energy, resilience and excitement the term connotes.”
